BTS Energy Advisors was founded in 2008 in Zurich, Switzerland by the BTS Monterosa Group, an independant financial service provider and advisor of a group of investment funds, with offices in Zurich, Mauritius and Mumbai. BTS Energy Advisors serves as the carbon trading desk of the group and is active in advisory services and trading of CER.

Alastair Guggenbühl-Even
Group Chairman

Alastair Guggenbühl Even, a Swiss national, holds an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau. After three years of management consulting for McKinsey & Co. he handled various consulting assignments in the financial service industry before founding BTS Belvoir AG in 1996. Since then he has been fully devoted in developing the BTS and subsequently the Monterosa Group of Companies in Europe and India. He serves on the board of several group companies and investment committees of both the Swiss Technology Venture Capital Fund Ltd. as well as BTS India Private Equity Fund Ltd.

Susanne Grossmann
Managing Partner

Susanne Grossmann holds a master in history and economics and had various positions with the Swiss Government, with a focus on private sector financing in emerging markets. From 2004-2007 she was member of the management team of the Swiss Organisation for Facilitating Investments, responsible for all activities of SOFI in Asia and Africa. In this function she assisted Swiss SMEs investing in emerging markets, with a focus on China and South East Asia. Susanne Grossmann serves also as Managing Partner at BTS Investment Advisors.

Lene Keerberg
Head Carbon Certificate Trading

Lene Keerberg started her professional career in the shipping industry as a shipbroker and charterer. With a diploma in International Marketing and Export from The Danish Export Institute, she started trading electricity for a big German utility in 2000. She was responsible for development of the cross border trading with a focus on the Scandinavian markets and renewable energy. She has gained broad and long-standing experience in green energy trading and the emission certificate market. Before joining BTS Energy Advisors, she headed the CER sales and hedge strategies of a Swiss commodity trading company.

Dejian Cui
Trading Manager

Dejian Cui holds a bachelor in economics (Fudan University, Shanghai) and a master in information technology (University of Zurich). Before joining BTS Energy Advisors, he was responsible for project consulting and financing in China with the Swiss Organisation for Facilitating Investments (SOFI), a development co-operation program of Swiss State Secretariat of Economic Affairs (Seco) and KPMG Switzerland.
